History
Adolescence is a time when the dolls and toys give way to the skin, feelings, the wounds of the heart and the flights of the mind. The story of David and Sandra brings this truth, but also has a terrible secret, a key that will be delivered only in the last pages. two children become adults, they can not be said to love, and tenderness are attributes only when they play, scribbling, to exchange pieces of paper with the hangman game. Because the heart is warm and full of unspoken words, but the manners are rough and blunt: this is the life of the barrio, the streets of a town English has always been where everybody knows everybody, without any introduction, and all the others are not, the others are out, I'm forasters. But inside there is all good, and all the evil that can bring love, love that one that promises to be an angel, and forever changed the course of life. Among the friends, the feelings and loves of our past there is always someone who has done it. There are those who sold and gone before they mate, her husband, the father of a lifetime. What makes us adults? The loss of innocence, or the tenacity with which we struggle not to destroy it, that innocence for a moment that made us feel real, and live? One thing is certain: the barrio, one day, something terrible has happened and unspeakable, and the two guys who have chosen to keep the secret to save their love will remain forever linked.
Comment
A book that can be understood easily, sliding and certainly emotional.
hard not to sympathize with the heroine Sandra, strong and determined character, but with moments of weakness and naiveté typical of the age.
The finish is a little obvious, but the atmosphere created from the very first page makes you want to discover the secrets of history to the end.
E 'was compared to three meters above the sky Moccia but I think they have in common only the difficult relationship between parents and children, too often undermined by silences and misunderstandings.
Pleasant
